This free phone helpline was set up by the Energy Retail Association and offers practical energy advice for people concerned about bills.
It is open from 0900-2000 Monday to Friday and 0900-1500 on Saturdays. The minicom number is 0800 027 2122.
Energy Saving Trust helpline - 0800 915 7722
A non-profit organisation that promotes energy saving, funded by government and the private sector

Winter fuel payments helpline - 08459 15 15 15 (0845 601 5613 for textphone users). Lines are open from 0830 - 1630 Monday to Friday.
An annual payment to help people aged 60 and over with the heating costs in winter.
