Provides interactive support to survivors of sexual abuse either as a child or adult, with advice on related subjects such as date rape, male rape, panic attacks, eating disorders, self harm, as well as Partners and Parents Sections.

A national registered charity which aims to support groups who are helping, or wish to help, girls and women who have been subjected to sexual abuse, domestic violence, female circumcision, forced prostitution or other abusive practices. Child Protection Teams
The Teams investigate allegations or suspicions of child abuse through a multi-disciplinary approach, working with social workers from the relevant Social Services Departments, or representatives of other caring agencies. All police officers and social workers employed on child protection matters are expected to receive, or to have received, joint training in this complex and highly sensitive work.

Crimestoppers is a registered charity giving national cover. They provide a free phone service to any person with information about crime. They also provide a means through which people can provide anonymous information regarding crime.

MASA (Men Against Sexual Abuse)

Open: 9:00am - 9:00pm. Due to lack of funding MASA can only help callers in Scotland. MASA offers help to men who were abused as children or adults or who are victims of male rape. They offer one-to-one counselling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy where applicable.

Survivors on the Net

Provides support and information on the internet for survivors of childhood abuse, their partners, family and friends. It provides a comprehensive database of self-help groups, counsellors and therapists, a 24-hour information and self-help forum for survivors run by survivors, plus an email enquiry and support service.
