Stop smoking campaign
The government's launched a new campaign to help people stop smoking. It says nicotine can be as addictive as heroin. You can get help and advice on giving up from all sorts of organisations. The NHS runs local smoking cessation support groups and offers nicotine substitutes to people giving up.

Being overweight increases your risk of cancer, according to new research. You can download leaflets on losing weight from the Cancer Research UK's website
Saving electronic "loose change"
The scheme which sweeps the "loose change" on your debit card into a savings account is run by Lloyds TSB. It's called Save the Change.
School dinners
We reported from a school in Berkshire which has brought in a local bakery chain to run its school dinner service. The school is Cox Green School in Maidenhead - and the've awarded their school meals franchise to Cooks the Bakery.

The children's programme which encourages children to take exercise is called Lazytown. It features characters such as Sportacus. There's a single called Bing Bang (time to dance) and a DVD. And you can now watch Lazytown on CBeebies on Freeview.

The global survey of young people's view is called Generation Next. It has its own website
