In today's election rally, Breakfast's Declan Curry stopped off in Glasgow, to find out why the Scots are appealing for migrant workers.
The Scottish First Minister Jack McConnell is actively encouraging immigration to Scotland, partly because many of Scotland's own young people have traditionally gone South to look for work.
We heard the story of one migrant worker from Slovenia, an economics graduate who's swapped working in a bank for a post as a kitchen porter.
And, we talked to the bus company which has recruited drivers from as far away as Poland
Also on Breakfast, as the Liberal Democrats launch an attack on Tony Blair's handling of Iraq, we asked: how much does the issue matter to voters?
