Drink-driving is to be targeted in the crackdown

More than 350 drivers were detected for motoring offences in Greater Belfast over the weekend, police have said.
In total 366 people were detected during the city phase of Operation Viper, aimed at cutting down on the number of road deaths.
The detections include nine for dangerous driving, 93 for careless driving and 20 for drink driving.
Chief Inspector Mark Purdon said that motorists must take a "responsible attitude".
"It continues to amaze and sadden police officers that some motorists persist in disregarding the basic rules of road safety," he said.
"All drivers must be aware of their responsibility not only for their own safety, but the safety of other road users."
