Family escape injury in arson attack
A woman and her three children have escaped injury following a fire at a house in County Tyrone.

It is believed the fire was started by a firework put through the letter box of the house in the Brambles area of Strabane.

The attack happened in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Police are treating the incident as arson.

Minor smoke damage and fire damage was caused to the interior front door and curtains.

The family, who were asleep upstairs, were alerted to the fire by a smoke alarm and got out safely.
