In pictures: Children's rescue drama
Eight children and an adult have escaped with just cuts and bruises after a large wave engulfed them on rocks at the Giant's Causeway visitor attraction in County Antrim.
These pictures, from an amateur video taken by the father of some of the children, shows the moments when they were swept away.
Children had posed for a picture with a parent
Youngsters realise the waves are getting higher
They attempt to escape the force of the wave
Children are engulfed on the Causeway rocks
Eight children were swept away from the rocks
The youngsters and their uncle suffered cuts and bruises
Safely back home after their dramatic ordeal
