A mother remains very seriously ill in hospital following a road accident in County Tyrone in which a 39-year-old man died.

Two of the 36-year-old woman's children, a five year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy, are described as stable following the accident on Friday.

The accident happened on the main Dungannon to Ballygawley Road at about 1730 BST on Friday.

It is understood two cars and a lorry were involved in the accident on the A4, near the Killymaddy service area.
