Filming of the battle had to be postponed in March due to extremely bad weather
The dramatic scenes on Lauder Moor will form the centrepiece of a £9m visitor attraction near Inverness
The scenes could not be recreated at Culloden because it is considered to be a war grave
Jacobite forces and the British Army went head to head once again
The film hopes to create an "immersion experience" giving visitors a real feel for the brutal nature of the Battle of Culloden

The battle recreation involved people of all ages
Smoke billowed across the battlefield in the Borders on Saturday
The visitor centre featuring the film will open later this year
