The typhoon sparked floods which have left South Koreans with a lot of drying out to do

Up to 453 mm (18 inches) of rain were dumped on some areas

The typhoon is thought to have caused more than $1bn worth of damage

Some 2,000 homes were destroyed, leaving about 9,000 people homeless

Troops have now been sent in to try and undo crop damage

But critics have said the government should have prepared the country better for the typhoon
