Aniston's ex scraps net auction
Jennifer Aniston
Michael Baroni said he and Aniston had a romance when she was 15
A teenage sweetheart of former Friends actress Jennifer Aniston has scrapped an auction of her love letters, notes and pictures after she complained.

Michael Baroni planned to sell mementos from the pair's 1984 romance for $100,000 (£57,000) on eBay.

But she said she did not want him to go through with the sale.

The items included a love letter written on toilet paper, a note with Aniston's name and phone number written in lipstick and a photo of the pair.

"I have voluntarily cancelled the eBay auction upon receiving word from one of Jennifer's representatives that she didn't want me conducting the auction," Mr Baroni said.

'Fond memories'

"I have nothing but fond memories of Jennifer as a friend and only wish her well."

Mr Baroni, now a lawyer in California, said the pair shared a summer relationship when he was 16 and she was 15.

He has previously said: "She was very fun and lively, a loving kind of person.

"I think the materials show an innocent look into someone I think is very endearing."

Aniston, 36, became one of the world's highest-paid actresses as a star of sitcom Friends. She recently split from Brad Pitt after seven years together.
