Sheila Ferguson leaves ITV jungle

Singer Ferguson was criticised by some contestants
Three Degrees singer Sheila Ferguson has been the third contestant voted out of ITV1's reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

The singer was told she was up for eviction alongside Antonio Fargas, the former Huggy Bear from 70s TV show Starsky & Hutch.

Ferguson had been the favourite to be voted off the programme.

Her departure followed the eviction of actress Nancy Sorrell and her comic husband Vic Reeves.

Ferguson had been criticised by other contestants, including journalist Janet Street-Porter, as being too bossy and shirking duties.

'Spoilt brat'

Later, being interviewed by hosts Ant McParlin and Declan Donnelly, she said she had not enjoyed being on the show.

"It really was tougher than I expected, every trial was like three trials in one, and it took a lot of endurance... with losing people the dynamic was changing like that, so nobody had a chance to bond," she said.

Ferguson said she had not got on with lingerie model Sophie Anderton.

"I can't stand her! Sophie is a little child and a spoilt brat.... other than that, she's alright," she said.

"Sophie's so used to being pampered... inside she's a good person, but I think she's out of her depth, she's with grown ups."
