The Lady From the Sea: Your views

The play is directed by Trevor Nunn
Natasha Richardson takes the lead role as Ellida in Ibsen's The Lady From the Sea at the newly refurbished Almeida theatre in London.

It is the first play to be performed under new artistic director Michael Attenborough, although the production itself is directed by Trevor Nunn.

"It is the lady of the title who raises the dramatic anchor and, for this critic at least, the lead actress lacked the strength to carry what was otherwise a powerful ship," said BBC News Online's Patrick Jackson.

But what do you think?

Was Natasha Richardson up to the role? What did you think of the theatre?

Wonderful set, beautiful music, great performances. But why choose such a clunky, horribly dated play?
