A less violent version of the Biblical epic The Passion of the Christ is to be released in UK cinemas this Easter.
Mel Gibson's film, entitled The Passion - Recut, has been cut by six minutes and will have a 15 certificate, instead of the original 18.
Director Gibson said: "I hope to cater to those people that perhaps might not have seen the original because of its intensity or brutality."
The film will open in UK cinemas on 25 March - Good Friday.
Gibson's depiction of the final hours of Jesus' life caused controversy around the world when it opened last year.
It made $610m (£317m) at the global box office after its cinema release in February 2004.
