Carrey will star in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events

Canadian actor Jim Carrey has become an US citizen although he will still retain his Canadian citizenship.
"This country has helped define me and make my dreams come true," said Carrey, 42, who moved to Los Angeles in 1979.
The Ontario-born comic star, who made his name in films such as The Truman Show, said he would not give up his Canadian roots.
"My upbringing in Canada made me the person I am. I will always be proud to be a Canadian," he said.
"I have no intention of giving up my Canadian heritage, and all those who loved and supported me," he added.
Award honour
Carrey's big break came in the early 1990s with TV series In Living Color, which featured him doing skits in the guise of several different characters.
He is due to receive the American Film Institute's Star Award at the 2005 US Comedy Arts Festival.
The actor, winner of Golden Globes for The Truman Show in 1999 and Man in the Moon in 2000, will be honoured in a career tribute in Aspen, in February.
Previous Star Award winners include Billy Crystal, Rob Reiner, Steve Martin, Mike Myers and Diane Keaton.
