A surreal 15-second black movie comedy about an escapologist has won a short film contest.
Rob Glenny's film The Final Performance was chosen as the winner of the Nokia Shorts contest, voted for by the public via a website and industry figures.
Mr Glenny, 25, of London, has won the chance to make a longer film produced with professional equipment and crew.
"In 15 seconds even James Cameron and a Titanic budget could still be beaten by a good idea," said Mr Glenny.
The 10 shortlisted films were screened at the British Independent Film Awards and the Raindance Festival, where noted industry figures were in attendance.
Runners-up, who win film training courses, were Happy Anniversary by Lucy Muss and Alexia Merrington and Sick by Hattie Dalton.
