In pictures: Notting Hill Children's Day
Two million partygoers are expected to flock to west London over the bank holiday weekend for the 2002 Notting Hill Carnival.
Europe's biggest street festival, it kicked off in a blaze of song and colour with Children's Day on Sunday.
