The BBC is facing criticism over its handling of the Strictly Come Dancing semi-final result, which saw all three celebrities go through to the final.

Professional dancer and former contestant Karen Hardy defended the move, but Guardian columnist Steve Hewlett said the show's producers should have been prepared for such a situation.
