Plans for a multi-million pound transformation of Birmingham's New Street Station have been unveiled.
The station was recently voted the worst in the UK in a BBC poll.
The Strategic Rail Authority set out its vision for the future of the station on Wednesday, which includes new entrances and many improved facilities.
But the authority has made it clear that the revamp cannot be carried out straight away because no money is available.
Jim Steer, a spokesman for the Strategic Rail Authority, said: "There is a national problem on funding for the rail network and so New Street's going to have to be looked at in that light."
More than 100,000 people use the station every day.
