Trading standards officers, backed up by Cleveland Police, have raided a car boot sale on Teesside.
They seized more than 500 counterfeit CDs and DVDs, worth about £7,500 from three stalls at the event in Blakeston, Norton on Sunday.
The raids were in response to several complaints received from members of the public.
Two Stockton men and a woman from Peterlee will face questioning at a later date, say police.
David Kitching, Stockton Council's trading standards manager, said the raid was part of a concerted effort to cut down on counterfeit goods being sold at such events.
"Officers will continue to visit car boot sales and fairs in the Stockton area and anyone discovered selling counterfeit goods may face prosecution."
