Villagers may get speed detectors
People in north Staffordshire could be getting their own radar guns to combat speeding drivers.

Villagers in Cresswell, Draycott, and around Tean, would be taught by Staffordshire Police how to use the radar speed detectors safely.

Details of speeding cars would be given to officers who would mount their own radar traps for persistent offenders.

The scheme has been piloted in south Staffordshire and police have told villagers they could be next.
