A campaign has been launched to tackle anti-social behaviour in Stoke-on-Trent.
A 24-hour rapid response hotline, a crackdown on underage drinking and the redesign of vulnerable areas such as the bus station, will be introduced.
The city's mayor, Mike Wolfe, said Operation Safer Stoke will be the biggest attack on anti-social attitudes the city has seen.
He said the aim is to put the victims of such behaviour first.
Extra gates at alleyways and tackling litter and fly posting will also be rolled out under the scheme.
Cllr Wolfe said it was not a zero-tolerance approach but he urged people not to "suffer in silence".
