Eleven people have been rescued from a sinking fishing boat off the coast of East Sussex.
Lifeboats were called to the charter vessel "Duke" after a mayday call reported difficulties off Beachy Head.
Gary Brown, of Dover Coastguard which co-ordinated the rescue, said waves had hit the boat and washed over the deck.
The passengers waited on a life raft for the Eastbourne RNLI lifeboat, which then took them to Sovereign Harbour. No injuries were reported.
The boat was anchored 1.5 miles south east of Beachy Head when it got into difficulties just after 0900 BST on Saturday.
Three other vessels who were nearby, and had heard the distress call, responded and stayed alongside the life raft until the arrival of the lifeboat.
