City to host graffiti conference
Sheffield is to host what is thought to be the first national conference on the problems caused by graffiti.

Delegates are also expected from abroad and the meeting will hear how Sweden has dealt with graffiti vandalism.

Two officers from Sheffield Council will explain the work of their graffiti removal teams and how the private sector is co-operating.

The conference is at Sheffield Town Hall on 21 April and is expected to hear from experts.

Councillor Harry Harpham said: "We are planning an intensive agenda for the day with a number of excellent speakers. "
