Fake goods seized worth £50,000
Counterfeit goods worth £50,000 have been seized from a market in Somerset.

Somerset Trading Standards shut down two stalls at the Brean market in Burnham on Sea that were selling fake DVDs and CDs.

A third stall offering labelled clothing had a large amount of its stock taken. The inspection followed complaints by traders.

A Somerset County Council spokesman said the stall holders faced up to 10 years in prison or an unlimited fine.
