Bridgwater library has been re-opened after six months of refurbishment work.
The building in Binford Place has been given a new lay-out and 20 computers, as well as more books, DVDs, and CDs.
A new customer lift has been installed and extra floor space created. The makeover also includes a light box, featuring images of the River Parrett.
The library, which celebrates its centenary next year, will be officially opened on Monday by Robin Bush, chairman of Somerset County Council.
Cllr Pat Parker said: "The people of Bridgwater now have new (computer) terminals with free internet access and a range of programs.
