A huge fireworks display is to be held to mark the 100th anniversary of Weston-super-Mare's Grand Pier.
The light-and-sound spectacular will take place on the resort's seafront at 2200 BST on Saturday.
More than 100 fireworks will be launched above the Marine Lake in time to music during the display.
Hundreds of people - residents and tourists alike - are expected to watch the show from the promenade, the pier and local bars and cafes.
North Somerset councillor Alan Hockridge said: "The Grand Pier is one of the major attractions of the resort.
"We would like to thank the owners for the support they have given in promoting and developing Weston as a tourist destination."
