African tractor trek for Somerset farmer
Terry Williams and Betsy
"Betsy" is 50 years old
A Somerset farmer who rode his tractor around the UK to raise money for charity is planning another unusual journey.

Terry Williams, from Bruton, will drive his 50-year-old Massey Ferguson "Betsy" from Cape Town in South Africa to Wells in Somerset to raise money for African farmers.

It will be the second charity trek undertaken by the West country farmer since he stumbled across "Betsy" on a peat moor while driving a car which was forced off the road.

In May, Mr Williams spent three weeks travelling 4,500 miles around the UK at 12mph.

The 50-year-old Massey Fergusson had been lying on its side for 15 years before it was found and restored by Mr Williams.
