Carers coping with the death of the person they looked after are to be given help and advice at a support group that is being planned.
Social services chiefs say there is a need for a formal group for the scores of carers in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
They say the group will target all carers, but will also help those who have been bereaved.
It is hoped the planned Bicester Carers' Group will meet twice a month after it is launched in January.
The county council is asking people to come forward and suggest the type of services that should be provided.
Jan Panter, assistant manager at the Launton Road day centre where the group will be based, said: "There's a real need for a carers' group in Bicester.
