Refuse collectors will pick up boxes for the elderly and disabled
|
Elderly and disabled residents who have trouble putting out rubbish are having a special collection service extended to include recycling.
West Oxfordshire District Council already operates a weekly door-to-door collection service for ordinary waste.
Councillor George Kellow said: "This service already exists, but is doubly important now the recycling service has started in earnest."
Foil, aerosols, batteries and other goods can be collected from 1 April.
