Phone box under threat of removal
People living in a Nottinghamshire village are fighting plans to have their phone box removed.

British Telecom says that not enough people are using the kiosk in Kersall, so they are going to remove it.

However, residents in the village which is situated between Ollerton and Newark are objecting and say that mobile phone signals are weak.

They have also adopted the box and installed a carpet and an air freshener and as well as Christmas decorations.
