Houses in a deprived area of Nottinghamshire are to be knocked down because no tenants have come forward to live in them.
Almost a third of properties, 130 homes in Pleasley Hill near Mansfield, are empty.
They have been approved for demolition by Mansfield District Council which is now looking for a developer.
Houses in Hillmoor Street, Clarence Street and part of Chesterfield Road North will be razed.
Don Smith, from Mansfield District Council, said: "People do want to live here, to start again or relocate to the area.
