A government planning inspector has overturned a council's decision not to allow a rehab facility for former drug addicts in a Nottinghamshire town.
The scheme for 15 self-contained flats on Potter Street in Worksop, will provide housing, support and treatment for people who have had a drug problem.
The plan had been turned down by Bassetlaw District Council.
But following an appeal, an inspector decided the scheme would not have a detrimental affect on the community.
The inspector also said the building was in keeping with the surrounding conservation area.
It will be staffed around the clock by the Framework Housing Association.
