Two trams involved in near miss
Two trams have avoided collision after they ended up travelling towards each other on the same stretch of track. Nottingham Express Transit is looking into how the trams came to within 60 metres of each other.

It happened on the Hucknall stretch near Butlers Hill Station at 1500 GMT on Saturday.

A spokesman for the company said an investigation had started into the problem with the service which took its first passengers four days earlier.
