Motorists in Leeds are being encouraged to help reduce rush hour traffic by joining the city's car sharing scheme.
Carshareleeds.com has 550 existing members and councillors are relaunching the scheme in a fresh attempt to cut congestion and parking problems.
People who join the internet-based service are put in contact with other possible travelling companions.
Councillor Stuart Andrew, member for transport, urged more people to join the "practical" scheme.
Cost effective
People who want to join need to register their journey details on the database, which will search for potential matches.
It can be used just once or on a regular basis.
Mr Andrew said: "Car sharing is a practical and environmentally friendly solution which really makes sense.
