A series of tea parties are being held to raise money to keep the air ambulance service in Yorkshire running.
The aim of the new fundraising appeal - which is set to run for the next month - is to raise £2m for the service.
The "Tea for Two Million" appeal is being launched on Tuesday by the Archbishop of York at his official home, Bishopthorpe Palace.
The air ambulance is financed entirely through voluntary donations and costs £3,000 a day to run.
Yorkshire's favourite
Martin Ede, the chief executive of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, said: "The basic concept is very simple.
"Yorkshire people invite friends, neighbours and family to enjoy Yorkshire's favourite drink.
"In turn they will demonstrate their pride and commitment to the vital life-saving service."
Among the highlights will be a celebrity tea at Harewood House near Leeds on 17 October when tea will be served by well-known faces.
