A £4m engineering centre of excellence is to be set up in Norfolk.

The centre, the third of its kind in the region, is to be built on three acres of land close to the headquarters of sports car maker Lotus at Hethel.

The centre, one of the East of England Development Agency's (EEDA) Enterprise Hubs, will tackle the decline in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

The deal was struck by Norfolk County Council, Group Lotus, EEDA, South Norfolk Council and Business Link.
