Coleen McLoughlin has been awarded £20,000 in damages from the Daily Mail after it admitted printing false statements about her birthday party.
The fiancee of Manchester United and England footballer Wayne Rooney held her 21st party in the grounds of Thornton Manor on the Wirral in March.
The newspaper suggested she had been snubbed by musicians who regarded her as "arrogant".
Ms McLoughlin's solicitor, Schillings, said the Mail had apologised on Friday.
It will also pay her damages and cover her legal costs.
The famous fashionista and columnist has said she will give the money to charity.
Ms McLoughlin and her representatives had sought an apology from the newspaper, but when it refused she started libel proceedings.
