Band member Flava Flav said he regretted his time in a gang

Hip hop pioneers Public Enemy have warned about the dangers of being in a gang after visiting the site where a 15-year old boy was shot dead.
The band, who are playing a gig in Manchester, visited the scene where Moss Side teenager Jessie James was shot dead in a park on 9 September.
"Get the hell out of the gangs," said band member Flava Flav as he surveyed floral tributes to Jessie.
Police said the teenager was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Gang regret
Flava Flav said he was speaking from personal experience.
"I was in a gang when I was young.
"There's a lot that I did I do not want to speak about, I do regret today," he said.
