A wreath is being laid on the River Thames to mark the 40th anniversary of Sir Winston Churchill's funeral.
The wartime prime minister's great grand-daughter, Sophie Perkins, 16, will lay the floral tribute near Tower Bridge, central London.
Churchill died aged 90 on 24 January 1965 and his funeral was held at St Paul's Cathedral a week later.
The wreath-laying party will be ferried in the Havengore, the original funeral boat used to carry Churchill's body.
Also on board the vessel will be the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Michael Savory, and Colonel Anthony Mather, who commanded the funeral bearer party on the Havengore on the day Churchill was buried.
