FBU members voted 73% in favour of industrial action

London firefighters have voted for industrial action in a row over using medical equipment on emergency calls.
The Fire Brigades Union (FBU) says members will not strike but are refusing to take part in training for the use of defibrillators.
The FBU claims crews are being used to attend incidents which the London Ambulance Service should deal with.
But Fire Brigade chiefs say the equipment is intended for use before paramedics arrive.
The FBU has claimed firefighters have not been offered sufficient training to use devices which stimulate a failing heart.
The union said 73% of members voted to take the action.
