Plans have been submitted to turn a former Lincolnshire pub into a mosque.
The planning application is to turn the former King William pub on Horncastle Road, Boston into a mosque and community centre.
The applicant, a private individual, said the appearance of the building will not be very different to how it appears now.
It is thought a number of Muslim doctors and other staff from the nearby Pilgrim Hospital could make use of it.
They currently have to travel more than an hour to a mosque in Grimsby.
The plans state the mosque is likely to be used by only a handful of people at anyone time,
