An open audition is being held on Thursday to recruit extras for a feature film being made in Lincolnshire.
A new version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is being shot in Burghley House and in and around Stamford.
The auditions for 500 extras, who are needed in various scenes of the film, are being held at Burghley House.
The producers say extras do not need acting experience - enthusiasm is more important.
The film stars Keira Knightley, Judi Dench, Tom Hollander, Donald Sutherland, Rosmund Pike, and, as Mr Darcy, Matthew Macfadyen, who made a major impact in the BBC television series Spooks.
Traffic round the Stamford Arts Centre will be restricted while the film crew constructs the set.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area until filming is complete.
