MP unveils £2m recycling centre
A £2m plant to recycle fridges and other electrical equipment is being opened in Lincolnshire.

Environcom says it is the first company in the UK to offer the service to businesses and councils.

The site in Grantham will reprocess computers, televisions and fridges, with end products including recycled plastic, copper and lead.

The plant opens amid growing pressure on councils to meet tough EU recycling targets.

The site is being opened on Monday by Conservative MP for Grantham and Stamford, Quentin Davies.
