Bid to cut illegal firework sales
Children in Lincolnshire are being sent into shops suspected of illegally selling fireworks to under-18s in a bid to stop the practice.

Trading Standards says any retailers selling fireworks to them could be fined up to £5,000.

Officers will be issuing £80 fixed penalties to underage children caught in possession of fireworks.

Using fireworks is illegal after 11pm, except on Bonfire Night, New Year's Eve, Chinese New Year and Diwali.
