Town's £21m shopping complex open
Boston's new £21m shopping complex opens on Friday - bringing almost 400 new jobs to the town.

Pescod Square is built around the medieval Pescod House.

Ten shops will open on the town centre site over the next six weeks. A 400-space multi-storey car park has also been erected.

It features a pedestrian bridge connected to department store Oldrids which has undergone a £5m expansion to coincide with the project.

Building moved

The project involved moving the 15th Century Pescod Hall 20 metres via two computer-operated trailers before lowering it on to its new foundations.
