New site for skate park needed
Campaigners trying to build a skate park in Lincoln say they still need to find a suitable venue.

The skate park steering group was set up over two years ago to raise money and find a location.

Planning officials had approved proposals for the Skateboard and BMX track at a warehouse on Beevor Street, but the site owner backed out.

The skate park group now hopes a new site can be found.

The city council has allocated £10,000 to the project which is being funded by both the public and private sector.
