Luke Walmsley: Allegedly stabbed at his school

An inquest into the death of Lincolnshire schoolboy Luke Walmsley has been told the 14-year-old died from a stab wound to the heart.
Lincolnshire Police outlined the circumstances of the death at the five-minute hearing in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, and proceedings were then adjourned by Louth and District Coroner Stuart Fisher.
A teenager accused of murdering Luke appeared in court again on Wednesday.
The 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is alleged to have killed Luke between lessons at Birkbeck Secondary School in North Somercotes, Lincolnshire on 4 November.
School reopened
Luke was given first aid by teachers and paramedics before being flown by air ambulance to Grimsby Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The 15-year-old boy appeared at Skegness Youth Court during the 20-minute hearing.
Patricia Harding, defending, made no application for bail, and the case was adjourned until 10 December when the boy will appear before the same court.
