Lincoln City supporters have raised more than £2,600 for a charity at the Sheffield hospital where manager Keith Alexander is being treated.
The money, collected during Saturday's match against Bristol Rovers, will go to Neuro Care.
This raises funds for patients with brain injuries at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
Mr Alexander collapsed at home over a week ago, suffering from a brain haemorrhage.
Stronger club
The collection was organised by the Lincoln City FC Supporters' Trust.
Trust chairman David Beck praised the Fans' efforts in supporting Keith Alexander.
He said: "Once again the supporters of this wonderful club have rallied around and shown they care.
"It may take some time but I think the club will be stronger for this.
"It will be a great tonic to Keith when he hears about what the fans have done."
