A Lincolnshire village which locals have described as a motoring "death trap" has experienced another serious car crash.
Three people were taken to hospital, one by air ambulance, following a head-on crash on the B1190 at Branston Booths, near Lincoln, on Saturday.
Villagers started a campaign at the end of last month, demanding a change in the speed limit after a series of collisions.
The local Methodist Minister, the Reverend Langley Mackrell-Hey, said he was not shocked by the latest accident.
He said: "Obviously I am quite saddened, but quite frankly I am not surprised.
"The B1190 runs right through Branston Booths... and is pretty lethal.
"This year a 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed... and a 12-year-old boy was knocked from his bike."
